Pawan Hans Ltd. has begun helicopter services on six routes in Assam.
A couple of days ago on 8th of February 2023, Pawan Hans Limited began its helicopter services on six routes in Assam which are Dibrugarh-Jorhat, Jorhat-Tezpur, Tezpur-Guwahati, and then on the way back from Guwahati-Tezpur, Tezpur-Jorhat, and Jorhat-Dibrugarh.
As of now, you can avail this helicopter service in Assam for three days in a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
These new helicopter services are launched under the RCS UDAN scheme.

RCS UDAN is a regional airport development program of Government of India and part of the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS). UDAN is short for Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik which essentially means the common citizen of India flies. Pawan Hans is a Miniratna - Government of India enterprise.
Up to 11 passengers can be seated in the twin-engine Dauphin Helicopter that Pawan Hans has deployed for this purpose.[1] Tickets can either be booked through the official booking website of Pawan Hans, which is https://booking.pawanhans.co.in or visit their ticketing offices in respective airports or heliports. And beware of fake websites trying to impersonate Pawan Hans.
