Foreign tourists and visitors to India, arriving at Delhi International Airport, can now skip paper forms and fill in their e-Arrival Card online

Delhi International Airport has launched an E-Arrival Card system for international passengers, for completing and submitting arrival details online up to three days prior to travelling to India.
This can be done online through one of the following ways : the Bureau of Immigration website, the Indian Visa website/app ‘Su-Swagatam’, or the Delhi Airport website. This is effective from Effective October 1, 2025.
With this new e-Arrival Card online system, there is no need to use the paper-based cards at the airport, which helps to reduce congestion at the airports, promote eco-friendly practices by reducing the usage of paper, and provide a quicker, smoother immigration experience to foreign tourists or travellers to India.
If you're a foreign national visiting India, you can complete and submit your e-Arrival Card online within 72 hours before your arrival in India at boi.gov.in or indianvisaonline.gov.in or via official 'Indian Visa Su-Swagatam' Mobile App.
As per the latest announcement by Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India, on October 1, 2025, foreign travellers to India who are arriving at Delhi International Airport, may avail this online facility to submit their arrival details online.
More information on travelling to India can be found on the "Travelling to India" tab on the main menu of the offical website of Bureau of Immigration, Govt. of India.
On the other hand, If you're an Indian National or Foreign Nationals holding an OCI Card (OCI - Overseas Citizen of India), then you may use the Fast Track Immigration: Trusted Traveller Program (FTI-TTP), to skip the queues and save time at selected Indian airports.
Currently, the e-Gates facility under FTI-TTP is available at 13 Airports in India, which are at : Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Cochin, Lucknow, Amritsar, Calicut, Trivandrum and Trichy.
To avail the Fast Track Immigration: Trusted Traveller Program (FTI-TTP), you need to apply through the official website of Indian Government, on ftittp.mha.gov.in and fill in the required details.
Note that the Fast Track Immigration: Trusted Traveller Program (FTI-TTP) is currently available to either Indian Nationals or Foreign Nationals holding an OCI Card only, while the e-Arrival Card is for Foreign Nationals visiting India either as a Tourist or for other purposes as listed in its portal, to submit arrival details online.
