Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has now enabled QR ticketing through the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), such that now you can purchase BMRCL QR tickets through 9 additional apps.
These 9 additional apps on which you can purchase Bengaluru Metro Train QR tickets are : EaseMyTrip, Highway Delite, Miles & Kilometres (via Telegram app), Namma Yatri, OneTicket, Rapido, Redbus, Tummoc, and Yatri – City Travel Guide.
These apps are in addition to the existing apps where you can already purchase Bengaluru's Namma Metro Train Tickets, which are: Namma Metro mobile app, WhatsApp chatbot (8105556677), and the Paytm app.
This was announced today on X, 8th July 2025, by the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL).
As per the announcement on X, BMRCL's Managing Director, M. Maheshwar Rao said that “This expansion of digital ticketing options is part of our broader effort to integrate first, middle, and last-mile connectivity within a single ecosystem. With auto-rickshaw and cab services already available on ONDC Network since 2023, the inclusion of metro ticketing completes a vital piece of the multi-modal travel system. Commuters can plan and book their entire journey, right from doorstep to destination, using just one mobile app, streamlining both time and effort...”
He further added that this is a strategic step for BMRCL, toward a more open, inclusive, and technology-forward future for urban mobility.
Over 8 lakh commuters use Namma Metro train every day on weekdays in Bengaluru and with this integration of 9 new apps for QR ticketing, BMRCL aims to provide a seamless app-integrated enhanced travel experience to its users.
