A 24 x 7 toll free tourist helpline in 12 languages
A 24x7 toll free tourist helpline number in 12 languages was recently launched by the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India to facilitate both domestic and foreign tourists in India.

This helpline was launched a couple of weeks ago by the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India, announced on the official Facebook page of Incredible India.

The languages supported are English, Hindi, Arabic, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin (Chinese), Portuguese and Russian. This toll free helpline will not only provide general information related to travel and tourism in India, but also serve as a helpline in times of emergencies and distress.
This is really a helpful feature that facilitates both domestic as well as foreign tourists in India.
